I came across this delicious recipe of Brussels sprouts, shrimp and bacon, while looking for an easy to prepare seafood low carb meal. Start with 3 strips of bacon cut in small pieces, and add to a frying pan. After frying to a crisp, separate from the frying pan and place the bacon bits in a bowl. Add onion cut in small pieces, to the left-over bacon fat in the pan. Cook the onion and add a tablespoon of butter. Allow the contents to cook for about 10 minutes or until it is golden brown. Add Brussels sprouts to the pan that are cut in halves, stir and cook for another 10 minutes. Mix the contents so it won’t stick to the pan, and add more butter if needed. Add shelled shrimp to the pan and cook for about 3 to 4 minutes. Cover the lid over the pan for a minute before adding the bacon bits from the bowl. This is an easy meal to make and takes about 20 minutes. So, enjoy and have a delicious low carb meal. Check it out!
